What Tymeslot does

Tymeslot is a booking-page scheduler covering the same ground as an individual Calendly account. You create meeting types, set when you are available and share a page where guests pick a duration and a time. Availability can be split into several named schedules (office hours on weekdays, an evening slot on Tuesdays), each with its own working hours, breaks, date overrides, buffers before and after meetings, booking window and minimum notice.

Every connected calendar is checked at booking time, so a conflict in any of them blocks the slot. Meeting types can offer several locations: in person, phone, a custom link or a video service, and the guest chooses one. Guests receive confirmation emails with an .ics file, reminders, and signed links to cancel or reschedule without logging in. The booking page can be embedded inline, as a popup or as a floating button, with embed tokens locked to your domain.

Calendars and integrations

Calendar support is broad, and CalDAV is its strongest point. Besides Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple iCloud, the project lists CalDAV servers such as Nextcloud, Radicale, Zimbra, Baikal and mailbox.org, with availability read and confirmed meetings written back. Video rooms can be created on Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Jitsi Meet, MiroTalk P2P, kMeet or Nextcloud Talk.

For automation, Tymeslot sends meeting_created, meeting_cancelled and meeting_rescheduled webhooks signed with HMAC, which can feed n8n, Zapier, Make or your own code, and it can post notifications to Slack and Telegram. Paid bookings go through Stripe Connect; the feature is off by default, and self-hosters who turn it on register their own Stripe platform, with the platform fee set to zero unless they change it. A WordPress plugin is maintained in a separate repository.

License

Tymeslot became open source recently. The repository history shows it was relicensed from the Elastic License 2.0, a source-available license, to AGPLv3 on 30 June 2026. The README also states that the name and logo are trademarks, so forks must use a different name. The self-hosted edition is described as having the full feature set, with no paid add-ons.

Self-hosting Tymeslot

The recommended install is a single Docker container with PostgreSQL embedded. You set a SECRET_KEY_BASE of at least 64 characters and the host name, mount two volumes, and the first account you register becomes the admin. The Docker guide gives 500 MB of RAM as the minimum and 1 GB as recommended. External PostgreSQL 14 or later, a reverse proxy, OIDC-only sign-in and closed registration are all configurable. Cloudron and Railway packages are also offered.

One trap is documented clearly: until you configure SMTP or Postmark, the default email adapter silently drops every message, including booking confirmations and password resets. As with all tools in this category, Google, Microsoft and Zoom connections need OAuth apps that you register yourself.

Hosted version

The developers, Diletta Luna OÜ in Estonia, run tymeslot.app on the same code, with a free plan and a paid Pro plan.

Limitations

Tymeslot is young and has a small community compared with Cal.diy, and its open source license dates only from mid-2026. The README does not describe team features such as round-robin or collective events, so it is aimed at individual hosts. The silent email default can cost you bookings if you miss it.

Who it suits

Tymeslot suits freelancers, consultants and small businesses that want a full-featured personal booking page with little server overhead, and especially people whose calendars live on a CalDAV server rather than Google or Microsoft. The Calendly alternatives page compares it with the other options.
